I am continually striving to attain higher levels of expression by fusing previous working techniques with my new understanding of the true relationship between colour and mathematics. I believe that as with all dynamic systems, colour must also obey the fundamental laws of mathematics. Thus spatial dimension within my art is achieved by a unique approach to colour, and through its incorporation within simple Euclidean geometric form.

Founded in mathematics, my systematic application of colour has provided my work with distinctive positive and negative space dynamic. Since symmetry often functions as a paradigm for the balance and harmony found in the natural world, as well as in great works of art, my approach becomes vital in exploring symmetric colour relationships. Thus, the repetition of balanced movements within colour is distilled into set laws acting on an abstract level.
